It all began
back in 1988 when Peter bought his first car, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro
RS/SS.
When competing against
local racers, there was minimal time between services…
In 1993, a '63 Chevrolet
Nova was bought which was much more suited for racing and in 1994 we
start competing in the West Swedish ET-racing series, with great
success, over the next couple of years.
After the Nova was sold, we purchased a former Pro Stock car, a chrome
molly '88 Chevrolet Camaro from Finland and we tried it out in Super
Gas. We soon realized that we needed a more powerful small block
Chevrolet motor.
With assistance from
Autoshop Racing Engines Inc, we installed a 434 ci small block into the
Camaro.
We then went on to compete compete in the Super Small Block class in
former Nordic Pro Street Cup, and became Nordic Champions both in 1999
and 2000.

We then made our first
attempt to retire from racing and everything was sold. It didn't take
long for us to get itchy feet, though...
Our real dream was to run
a mean '63 Corvette and we set our hearts on that dream. After a couple
of years searching, that dream became a reality when we found a state of
the art, Jerry Haas-built car in the USA. What made it even more
interesting is that US Pro-racer "Tricky" Ricky Smith had owned the car
and tuned it for a season.
The ultimate small block
Chevy motor was then commissioned under guidance from Appelgren
Motorsports and if everything goes well, the team will be in action in
spring 2008."
