The 2010 season so far…
Due to late deliveries from the US, we needed to skip a couple of events, so
our first outing for 2010 became Cramo Nat´s in Malmö in the end of May and
it was an 1/8 mile track.
We qualified as # 3 with 4,425 sec, 0,535 sec under index, but in the first
round of elimination against Emil Eriksson we didn´t got the boost in time
and lost.
The weekend after we went to Gardermoen in Norway and their ¼ mile track,
and strange things started to happened.. After a couple of really bad
qualification rounds, we noted that the converter was acting strange. Crew
member Stefan Drottz made a trip in the middle of the night from our
workshop in Sweden with another converter and we changed it in the early
morning. But nothing was better with the new converter so we dropped the
event and went home.
Back home we
noticed that some of the brand new things in the Lencodrive wasn´t mounted
at all! We found thing loose when we opened it…
In mid July we did some testing in Malmö, and now it seems to work as it
should do.
2008
12-14Th
September TSDS Winter Nat’s, Meca Raceway, Malmö, Sweden, 1/8 mile
Sunday:
We hade a bye run in the first round of elimination, and just cruised down
the track, we didn't want to destroy the class index, 1.05 to the 60 ft, and
4,51 sec & 218 km/h over the finish line.
The semi final were all turbo, we eliminated Krister Adeén´s CT/A Volvo 850,
60 ft at 1.05 sec, 4,43 sec & 257 km/h at the stripe.
In the final, Stig Olsson with his front engine dragster showed up in the
other line.
Sadly we drop our 60 ft, and only ran a 4,58 sec run & 255 km/h, so we lost
against Stig....
Saturday:
We hade some problem with a short and smokeless burnout, but still doing a
nice 1.05 sec 60 ft time. 4.53 sec and 251 km/h over the finish line made us
really happy.
At the moment we are #1 qualifier
We are more than pleased with the second round of qualification, 1.03 sec to
the 60 ft, and 4,423 sec & 256,41 km/h at the stripe!
Third round, 1.03 sec to the 60 ft again, but a little slower 4,45 sec and
254 km/h this time.
The good news that we set a new Swedish Record in AT/A over the 1/8 mile!!
Friday:
We did only get one round of qualifying during Friday, but we made a nice 60
ft time of 1.05 sec! Unfortunately the
car stood a little bit wrong at the starting line, so Peter needed to lift
and then on it again. 4.689 sec & 209.26 km/h is 0.271 sec under
index and the second place in the qualification right now

Our first outing ever!
Finally, the car was ready for some testing, and the nearest racetrack
is Gardermoen Raceway in Norway.
Several six seconds cars hade join this test session, the last chance in
Scandinavia for testing.
We haven´t been out at the track for eight years! And we also got some
new team members as well so we were all nervous.
The first burnout became a nice and clean one in a good straight line.
Peter just wanted to do some 60 ft testing the very first time, but when
he launched, everything felt so good that he drove nearly a 1/8 mile,
and scored 4,785 seconds! 1,10 sec at the 60 ft line.
We need to reprogram the software to the engine; it takes way to long
time to build up turbo boost at the starting line.
During the second and last run of the day, Peter slipped of accelerator!
Using the heavy foot Peter aimed against the finish line, and the carbon
fiber Corvette stopped the timing system at 7,59 seconds and 278 kph……
Sunday became a round of the Norwegian Clean Up Championship.. We only
had time for one test session, and the track wasn´t that good that is
use to be so we needed to make a gently launch of the line, only using
the half turbo boost. 1,09 sec at 60 ft and 7,165 sec and 311 kph at the
stripe finished our test session and we are more than pleased with the
weekend.
Thanks all the teams who gave us practical advice, and a big Thank You
to Annette Ravneberg from the Press Office, who drove in to the village
and purchased a electrical cable we needed!
